My name is Courtney Lupo. I will be graduating from the University of South Carolina - Columbia in December of 2015 with a Bachelor's Degree in Exercise Science and a Chemistry minor. I will be Graduating with Leadership Distinction in Professional and Civic Engagement. Once I graduate, I hope to move forward towards my goal of getting accepted to medical school and becoming a physician.
You will find links at the top of this page and on the home page to each of my key insights and my leadership sections to receive more information on my journey through my undergraduate education and my plans for the future. If you have any questions or comments for me, you can email me via my "contact" link.
You will find me to be very driven and dedicated in my path to becoming a physician. A common issue with medical students and applications is making yourself stand out in the crowd. My experiences at the University of South Carolina are helping me do just that. Throughout my undergraduate education, I have learned much more than what was simply in my textbooks. I have learned how to facilitate the learning of others, how to apply medicine in the real world, the inner workings of dealing with diversity, and what addiction entails. These insights are what will set me apart from the rest of the applicants in this application cycle and will eventually shape me into the physician that I will become in the future.
